Missing Executable Error (Steam)

Steam have now refunded me twice for this error which I can't seem to fix.

What happens is:
1, I install the game.
2, I run the game, triggering an Origin install.
3, Origin installs.
4, Origin then closes, the game attempts to run, and this error pops up.

I'm very frustrated because I've been waiting a long time for the MW remake to come to Steam.
Top marks to Steam for their service, but, EA? I'm sorry but you continue to break my heart.
